The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to investigate whether there has been a change in the representation of violence against women by the European parliament before and after #metoo. The analytical framework provided uses a theory of framing which focuses on intepreting some parts of a text and discuss it. The overall research question is: How does the European parliament frame violence against women before and after #metoo? The method used to answer the question is a qualitative text analysis of eight resolutions made by the European Parliament.
