The teaching of the History of Cuba in Cuban Primary Education is conceived from a dialectical-materialist approach, which demands that the subjects of history be analyzed in all its social dimension, however, at present the political aspects continue to be connoted, military and diplomatic, to the detriment of economic, social and cultural, during the teaching and learning of historical personalities and the popular masses.
