Diseño de un Centro de Interpretación del Patrimonio en el Campus Salache.

Due to the lack of knowledge and the absence of culture, the citizenship has caused negative impacts to the natural and cultural environment that are located in a specific place, therefore, this research had as the main goal to contribute to the conservation of the heritage encouraging the care and the importance through the design of a Heritage Interpretation Centre (HIC) in the Salache Campus. For this, the technical feasibility of the area was determined, through a diagnosis analyzing the current state, the field methodology was applied through direct observation and documentary analysis, a record of scale and parameters was applied and adapted, valued at the scale of Deficient (1-11), Regular (12-22), Good (23-33), Very Good (34-44), Excellent (45-55). The diagnosis concluded that the ranch house has the minimum conditions for the operation of the Interpretation Centre with the functionality of Very Good (34-40) with a total of 40. Furthermore, the thematic areas of the HIC were defined through an analysis of the visitors' demand and the minimum physical space required, according to the visitors' demand who have entered the Salache Campus in the years of 2010-2019, the thematic areas were designed according to the target audience which in this case is the middle childhood from 7 to 11 years old. The most important topics found in the MINEDUC books as a reference to the Natural and social science helped to the definition of the thematic areas, being selected: the Natural resources, biodiversity, importance of conservation, and the interaction of the biotic and abiotic beings, once analyzed, these defined four thematic areas: Cotopaxi audio-visual tours, biodiversity, Salache's resources, and environmental guardians. Finally, the interpretive media were designed with technical criteria that look to contribute to the environmental consciousness of the visitors through records. For the thematic area: Cotopaxi auto visual tour was divided into 8 rooms with a total of 14 interpretative media. For the thematic area: Biodiversity, 1 room with 7 interpretative media. For the thematic area: Salache’s resources, 1 room with 6 interpretative media. For the thematic area: Environmental guardians, 1 room with 4 interpretative media, giving a total of 32 interpretative media with topics related to natural and cultural resources of the Cotopaxi province. This indicates that the study area located in the Salache Campus accomplish with the necessary parameters for the creation of a HIC because it has the dimensions and enough space to make the design. Also, it is recommended to generate other touristic alternatives of awareness, care, and protection of the natural and cultural resources inside the campus, to promote heritage preservation.La ciudadanía por falta de conocimiento y la ausencia de una cultura ambiental generan impactos negativos a los espacios naturales y culturales que se encuentran en un determinado lugar, por tal motivo el presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo contribuir a la conservación del patrimonio fomentando su cuidado e importancia mediante el diseño de un Centro de Interpretación del Patrimonio (CIP) en el Campus Salache, para esto se determinó la factibilidad técnica del área, mediante un diagnóstico analizando el estado actual, se aplicó la metodología de campo mediante la observación directa y análisis documental, se adaptó y aplicó una ficha de parámetros y escala, valorados a una escala de: Deficiente (1- 11), Regular (12- 22), Bueno (23- 33), Muy Bueno (34- 44), Excelente (45- 55), con esto se concluyó que la casa hacienda tiene las condiciones mínimas para el funcionamiento de un Centro de Interpretación, con una funcionalidad de Muy Bueno (34-40) con un total de 40. Posterior se definió las áreas temáticas del CIP a través del análisis de la demanda de visitantes y del espacio físico mínimo requerido, de acuerdo a la demanda de visitantes que han ingresado al Campus Salache en los años 2010 a 2019, las áreas temáticas fueron diseñadas de acuerdo a la audiencia meta que en este caso es la infancia media de 7 a 11 años de edad. Los temas más importantes que tratan los libros del MINEDUC en referencia a Ciencias Naturales y Ciencias Sociales, ayudaron a la definición de las áreas temáticas, siendo seleccionadas: Recursos naturales, Biodiversidad, Importancia de la conservación y la interacción de los seres bióticos y abióticos, una vez analizado esto se definieron 4 áreas temáticas: Recorridos audiovisual de Cotopaxi, Biodiversidad, Recursos de Salache y Guardianes Ambientales. Por último se diseñaron los medios interpretativos con criterios técnicos que buscan contribuir a la conciencia ambiental de los visitantes mediante fichas. Para el área temática: Recorrido audiovisual de Cotopaxi, se dividió en 8 salas con un total de 14 medios interpretativos. Para el área temática: Biodiversidad, 1 sala con 7 medios interpretativos. Para el área temática: Recursos de Salache, 1 salsa con 6 medios interpretativos. Para el área temática: Guardianes Ambientales, 1 sala con 4 medios interpretativos, dando un total de 32 medios interpretativos con temas referentes a las a los recursos naturales y culturales de la provincia de Cotopaxi. Lo que indica que el área de estudio ubicado en el Campus Salache cumple con los parámetros necesarios para la creación de un CIP, ya que cuenta con los espacios y dimensiones suficientes para realizar el diseño. Al igual que se recomienda generar otras alternativas turísticas de concientización, cuidado y protección natural y cultural dentro del campus, para así fomentar la preservación del patrimonio
