Background. In the recent years, the pace of life is accelerating and as a result the number of severe pelvic injuries often increase as part of the polytrauma. Pelvic trauma accounts for up to 7% of traumatic injuries. Objective of the study. Study of the literature on the treatment approach in polytraumatized patients with unstable pelvic fractures. Material and Methods. 19 literary sources were analyzed where several treatment methods are proposed and described with the recommendations of different researchers and practicing surgeons.
