This article focuses on the close relation between non-formal learning spaces, such as museums, and the demands of school education and its possibilities proposed by Primary Education teachers in the context of the process of scientific literacy. This study describes how teachers appropriate the exhibition objects of the Museum of Zoology of the University of São Paulo, creating visit itinerary for the space, from which we made the following questions: How do teachers establish relationships between thecontents and themes to work on the partnership between the school and the museum?
