International exchange students together with industrial design and interior and textile design students have analyzed Finnish design classics in this Furniture Design Models course. Students were inspired by classic works like Harri Koskinen´s Block lamp, Tapio Anttila´s Trek-lamp, Laura Väre´s W chair, Markku Salo´s Kayak platter, Lisa Johansson-Pape´s Wooden chandelier, Ilkka Suppanen´s Stick chair and Alvar Aalto´s Aalto stool 60 and Alvar Aalto tea trolley 901. Students created new furniture designs based on their analyzes on the classics. Miniature scale models 1:6 of these designs are presented in the exhibition
