Optik uyarmalı lüminesans (OSL), iyonlaştırıcı radyasyonla ışınlanmış yalıtkan veya yarıiletken bir materyalin ışık ile uyarılması sonucu lüminesans yayması olayıdır. OSL sinyalinin şiddeti, materyal tarafından soğurulan radyasyon dozuna bağlıdır ve bu bağımlılık radyasyon dozimetri sisteminin temelini oluşturur.
