Effect of modulation techniques on link equations at satellite communication systems

Uydu haberleşme sistemleri, günümüzde görüntüleme, iletişim, konum bulma, meteoroloji gibi pek çok alanda oldukça yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Uydu haberleşme sistemlerinde veri iletim performansı, veri iletim ortamı, alıcı ve verici girişlerinde oluşan gürültü, kullanılan modülasyon ve kodlama tekniklerine bağlı olarak değişiklikler gösterebilmektedir. Bu tez çalışmasında, yer gözlem uyduları için, uydu haberleşme sistemlerinde kullanılan modülasyon türlerinin veri iletim performansına etkisi incelenmiştir.Nowadays, satellite communication systems are widespreadly used in imaging, communicating, finding position, meteorology etc. In satellite communication systems, data transmission performance may be different due to transmission media, noise at transmitter and receiver, modulation techniques and coding. In this thesis, the simulation analyses to investigate the effect of different modulation techniques to the performance of data transmission in satellite communication for earth observation satellites is given
