On the solution of the g-navier stokes equations

Bu tezde; g-Navier Stokes denklemleri için verilen bir başlangıç sınır değer problemi ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada problemin Dirichlet sınır koşulları altında zayıf çözümlerinin varlığı Galerkin metodu kullanılarak ispatlanmıştır. Verilen problemin çözümlerinin tekliği gösterilmiştir. Ayrıca g-Navier Stokes denklemlerinin periyodik sınır şartları altında çözümlerinin varlık ve tekliğiyle ilgili literatürde bilinen sonuçlar kullanılarak belirleyici modlar için bir kestirim elde edilmiştir.In this thesis, initial-boundary value problem given for g-Navier Stokes equations is discussed. In this study, the existence of weak solutions under Dirichlet boundary conditions is proved using Galerkin method. The uniqueness of solutions to the given problem is shown. Also, we give an estimate for the number of determining modes by using results given in the literature related to existence and uniqueness of solutions under periodic boundary conditions of g-Navier Stokes equations
