Abstract

This study had as object to examine the condition of the physical education curriculum component in high school, after the changes promoted by law no. 13.415/2017, by the DCNEM 2018 and by the BNCC, aiming to discuss the implications and trends that emerge from this process, as well as exposing the fundamental elements of the physical education proposal present at the BNCC. Supported by historical dialectical materialism, documentary research was carried out. It was found that the reform contributed to the deepening of the curricular hierarchy.
