Underground piping have a big risk of corrosion, so control must be considered. Corrosion control is carried out by the method of coating, painting and a protective layer (wrapping) or using the cathodic protection method, both the sacrificial anode (SACP) and impressed current (ICCP). To find out the most ideal corrosion control design, a test is needed to compare the corrosion rate of each design with variations in anode weight, paint thickness, and the number of layer wrapping.
