Church Women United in Seneca County was a local chapter of the national Church Women United. The revised by-laws state its group purpose was to bring together Christian women for fellowship and assist the community. It was comprised of women from different Christian faiths and would work in cooperation with other organizations. Officers included a president, vice-president, recording secretary, corresponding secretary, treasurer and chairwoman of the nominating committee. Its annual meeting was held in January and members paid $10 in dues
