INTRODUCTION: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is now considered the gold standard for the treatment of symptomatic gallstone disease. The advantages of laparoscopic cholecystectomy compared to open surgery is well documented. Some patients complain of symptoms even after complete removal of gallbladder with calculi which lasts even years after the procedure.Persistent postcholecystectomy symptoms' was more accurate description.
