INTRODUCTION: Time since death or Post-Mortem Interval is considered a vital information in Forensic Medicine. Many a times the establishment of conviction or acquittal in a crime solely depends on the knowledge of Time since death. Yet there are very few solid, fool-proof methods to establish the Time since death. One such process is the time related change in electrolyte composition in the body fluids like blood, cerebrospinal fluid, vitreous and aqueous humour.
