PEMANFAATAN LAHAN PASCA TAMBANG TIMAH DENGAN BUDIDAYA NILAM DENGAN BEBERAPA AMELIORAN

Post tin mining land use as agricultural land can be done by ameliorant application to increase soil fertility. Ameliorant application are able to improve physical, chemical and biological of soil properties. Another technology to utilize post tin mining land is to use adaptive plants such as patchouli. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organic and inorganic ameliorant on the growth and yield of patchouli in post – tin mining. The study was conducted from January to May 2020, in post tin mining area owned by PT. Timah located in Air Jangkang, Bangka Regency. This research used experimental methode with a Factorial Randomized Block Design (FRBD) with two factors and 3 replications. The first factor was organic ameliorant (A) consist of  no amelioration (control), cow manure fertilizer, compost, chopped rice straw and solid. The second factor was inorganic ameliorant (B) consists of NPK and without NPK.  The results showed that solid application gave significant effect on leaves number, wet weight, dry weight and production. The combination of A5B1 (solid + without NPK fertilizer) gave the best results on plant height, leaves number, wet weight and dry weight of patchouli plants in post- tin mining land
