Library Lore | Spring 2021 / Issue 7 1 To date, Karen, Chelsey, and Cindy have altered over 2,000 authority records from the original Library of Congress records and their associated bibliographic records, over 600 of which they have created completely new authority records for. Over 12,000 bibliographic records have been updated with new and/or revised subject headings (containing over 40,000 headings). Not only does this represent a large volume of work but it is work that is nuanced and requires specialized knowledge of library records, Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH), Indigenous Subject Headings, and library content management systems.
