Transformation of medical education in Latvia is connected to new requirements which are focused on developing complex competences that have become especially important in specific and health threatening conditions of Covid-19 global pandemic. Qualitative use of specific and transversal competences is necessary for more complicated and autonomous dimensions of the nurses’ responsibilities.
