The aim of this article is to calculate energy intensities and CO2 emissions in Andalusia, the largest and most populated region of Spain. Energy intensities for five energy commodities in production activities are calculated using a SAM model with three alternative closure rules. More interestingly, it also provides estimates of CO2 emissions using data of 2005, ten years away of the base year, by updating the values of exogenous accounts.
