The main objective of this study was to examine the access ad uses of free maternal health care services among women in Zanzibar Urban West Region. A quantitative approach adopted in this study and data was analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis. Simple Random and purposive sampling were used to select 262 Respondents. The data were collected through closed ended questionnaires. The findings of the study revealed that, Most of hospitals and clinics visited by maternal mothers were government clinics since 196 respondents which is equal to (74.8%) visited Government clinic, 66 respondents equal to (25.1%) visited private clinics and.
