The 18F national primary standard was developed by the INMRI-ENEA using the Liquid Scintillation Spectrometry Method with 3H Standard Efficiency Tracing. Measurements were performed at JRC-Ispra under a scientific collaboration between the Institute for Health and Consumer Production, the Amersham Health and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Prevention (ISPESL). The goal of the work was to calibrate, with minimum uncertainty, the INMRI-ENEA transfer standard portable well-type ionisation chamber as well as other JRC-Ispra and Amersham Health reference Ionising Chambers used for FDG activity measurement.JRC.I.4-Nanotechnology and Molecular Imagin
