An attempt is made to improve swarm-based optimization algorithms (SBOA) through an investigation and development in C of the following: i) Random Algorithm, ii) Immune Programming Algorithm (IP), iii) Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm (ACO), and iv) Hybridized ACO and IP.
