Resistance tests in level ice are described, as conducted at Institute for Marine Dynamics, NRC, on a 1:15 scale model of CCGS Louis S. St. Laurent. The orginal bow, and two proposed new bows, were tested. Results are presented, which show that both new bows are a significant improvement over the original. Differences between the performance of the two new bows are discussed.NRC publication: Ye
