This article discusses the major curricular reforms implemented in Mexico in the initial training of teachers in primary education (primary education), contextualizing them in the country’s historical and educational periods. It argues that despite the changes, there has been no success in forming subjects of educational praxis.En este artículo se analizan las principales reformas curriculares realizadas en México en la formación inicial de docentes de primaria (primer ciclo de la educación básica), contextualizándolas en los correspondientes periodos históricos y proyectos educativos del país.
