Development of healthy skills for children of pre-school age in outdoor space

The bachelor's final work examines the approach of pre-school educators to the development of healthy lifestyle skills for pre-school children in the outdoor spaces of the institution. The development of children's healthy lifestyle skills depends not only on the attitude, effort or acquired competences of educators, but also on the adaptability of the outdoor space of the educational institution. These are problematic questions: how are healthy lifestyle skills developed in pre-school? What are the problems of educators developing healthy lifestyle skills in outdoor spaces for pre-school children? The subject of the investigation. Developing healthy lifestyle skills for pre-school children in outdoor spaces. The purpose of the study. To explore the possibilities of developing healthy lifestyle skills for pre-school children using the outdoor environment of pre-school institutions. Research methods: Theoretical: analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodological literature sources. Empirical: questionnaire survey of pre-school educators. Qualitative: content analysis. Study take and organization. The study was carried out in November 2020. It was attended by 100 pre-school educators. Conclusions: 1. Many establishments are equipped with safe outdoor spaces that meet children's needs. They develop healthy lifestyle skills several times a week. During activities, children usually go for a walk, play mobile games, and organize educational activities. 2. Pre-primary education educators are sufficiently competent, but most would like to learn more about developing children's healthy lifestyle skills in outdoor spaces. Responders search the internet for the necessary information, share good practices with colleagues, participate in refresher seminars. 3. The spaces of pre-school education institutions are the best suited for the running, tossing and swinging of educational institutions. The biggest problem is unsealed, poorly equipped or outdated outdoor facilities that are not of interest to children or are unsafe for developing their healthy lifestyle skills.
