This paper presents the results of a collaboration between the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) and Queen's University to study the structural fire resistance of FRP-strengthened concrete members under fire exposure. The items presented in this paper are: 1) Some of the results of an experimental program, conducted at NRC, on FRP-strengthened RC columns and beams exposed to standard fires; 2) The numerical fire simulation models that were developed to predict the heat transfer behavior and variation in load carrying capacity of various types of FRP-strengthened RC members during exposure to standard fire scenarios; ) The recommendations for design guidance for FRP-strengthened RC structures in fire.
