This paper presents the results of numerical simulations of the resilient modulus test using the discrete element method to assess the effect of particle shapes on the resilient behaviour of aggregate materials. The simulations were performed on two assemblies made of individual circular particles and clusters composed of three circular particles linked together (prescribing one big triangular element), respectively.
