Information about the natural gas and electricity consumption, size, age, and style of construction was obtained for 1,478 houses in the city of Regina. Slope- intercept relationships between natural gas consumption and electricity consumption versus heating degree-days were determined for each house. Calculations were made to find the variation of energy consumption with several house characteristics. The variation in the slopes of the natural gas consumption versus heating degree-days was also studied.
