Proceedings of the Western Muskeg Research Meeting

This is a record of the Fourth Meeting of the Muskeg Subcommittee, which was held in Edmonton, Alberta, on March 2, 1955. A list of those attendances is included as Appendix A. The meeting was the first t o be held in Western Canada, and was sponsored by the Associate Committee on Soil and Snow Mechanics of the National Research Council.Under the direction of Dr. N. W. Radforth, the morning session was devoted to business and to the reading of progress reports of muskeg research which is now underway in Canada. The afternoon took the form of a technical session with Dean R.M. Hardy and Mr. I.C. MacFarlane acting as Chairmen.
