Sheets of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), high-impact PMMA (HI-PMMA), acrylonitrile--butadiene--styrene copolymer ( ABS) and acrylonitrile--styrene copolymer modified with acrylic rubber (ASA) were weathered at both 0 degrees ( horizontal) and 90 degrees (vertical facing south) exposure angles for ten years. Weathering of PMMA does not induce significant changes in the surface or the spectral transmittance in the visible and near infrared regions, and causes only a slight-to-moderate decrease in elongation at yield and at break, but does not affect other tensile properties. Weathering of HI-PMMA results in surface degradation, a marked decrea se in solar transmittance, and considerable deterioration of mechanical properties.Des feuilles d...
