A recent paper describes methods of evaluating the resistance of floors in buildings to impact sound such as footsteps [1]. The field measurements were combined, with laboratory results [2] previously collected on surface additions to a 4-in. reinforced concrete slab. As both papers are concerned with test methods rather than with test results for specific floors, the individual floor constructions were not described. Further details of the floors considered in Reference 1 are given in this Note; the constructions studied in Reference 2 have already been described [3].Une publication r\ue9cente rend compte des m\ue9thodes d'\ue9valuation de la r\ue9sistance au bruit d'impact tel que les pas [1] dans les \ue9difices.
