This Digest discusses the atmospheric factors of time-of- wetness, pollution and temperature and how these affect the corrosion of metals. Data are presented for the time-of- wetness at a number of exposure sites, and a correlation is given for the duration of relative humidity ranges at coastal and inland centres.
