The work presents a forerunner of the constructivist direction and constructivism of the 1920s in all areas of the arts. The aim was to identify the main trends of musical-theatrical constructivism as an example of the ballet "Le pas d’asier" reflected the traditions of Russian and French art in the first third of the twentieth century. Theoretical and methodological basis of this work consists of an integrated approach, including the synthetic nature of musical- the- atrical genre, historical-cultural and comparative methods.
