The objective of this study was to evaluate the physiological and enzymatic potential of three isolates of Colletotrichum spp. obtained from pepper-of-smelling fruits (Capsicum chinense Jacq.) showing symptoms of anthracnose. For this purpose, collections of typical fruits pepper-de-smell with lesions of anthracnose were carried out in three municipalities of Amazonas state, and they Presidente Figueiredo, Manacapuru and Rio Preto da Eva. After collection, the fruits went to the lab Phytopathology INPA, where the procedures for isolating the causal agent of anthracnose were carried out.
