In this paper, a contribution to the dendrological knowledge of the Amazonian species of the genus Dimorphandra (Leguminosae) is given by the authors, by including botanical description, geographical distribution, habitat and anatomical description of wood the following species: Dimophandra caudata, D. coccinea, D. ignea, D. macrostachya, D. parviflora, D. pennigera, D. vernicosa and three news subspecies now created: D. macrostachya ssp. macrostachya, D. macrostachya ssp. congestiflora and D. macrostachya ssp. glabrifolia 27 illustrations of the woods described are included in this paper.Os autores apresentam o estudo dos caracteres anatômicos das madeiras de 7 espécies e 3 subespécies do gênero Dimorphandra (Leguminosae - Caesalpinioideae...
