La visibilidad de una revista académica electrónica. Una perspectiva comunicacional.

The visibility of an electronic academic journal exposes, under a communicational perspective, the visibility of the Electronic Magazine of Educational Research (Redie) through the analysis of its contents and communication processes. In this sense, it studies the consumption of the information produced by the journal through its procedures of introspection. The research is based on a methodology of quantitative cut that, at the same time, is aided by the analysis of bibliometric indicators (institution, academic degree, nationality of the authors, gender, level of authorship, etc.) and cybermetric (countries from which the journal is consulted, the origin of the connection, the keywords used in the search, the number of downloads of articles in portable document version [pdf, for short] English], and the total number of unique visitors per month and year) to evaluate two fundamental points in the publication: internal communication generated from its authors and the stable external communication cida by the users (readers).
