Krikščionybė vaidino ypatingą vaidmenį kelių amžių Indijos kolonizavimo istorijoje. Krikščionybę indai stengėsi suprasti įvairiais būdais ir iš įvairių perspektyvų. Šiame straipsnyje analizuojama krikščionybės įdiegimo į kultūrą Indijoje ir krikščioniškos teologijos vedantiškos transformacijos problematika. Siekiama identifikuoti pagrindinius krikščioniškos teologijos konstravimo bandymus Indijoje siejant juos su hinduizmo teologija ir filosofija.
