Morphological characteristics of martensite after B2-B19 transformation are considered within the limits of the concept of the control wave process. It is demonstrated that there is a possibility for the fast formation of an intermediate mesoscopic state. The instability of this state for the subsequent transition to final strains is supposed. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York
