Chinese outbound tourism is currently the single second largest source of tourism in the world and is well on the road to becoming the largest in a few years. Despite being a destination in a neighboring country, Kathmandu, a destination voted one of the top 25 destinations of 2014 by trip advisor is however yet to capitalize on this.
