Session 5A: Stainless steelABSTRACT: This paper presents a series of tests on strengthened ferritic stainless steel tubular members using externally bonded high modulus Carbon Fibre-Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) plate. The CFRP plate strengthening is only applied to a small localize region subjected to concentrated load. The tubular members of square and rectangular hollowsections subjected toweb cripplingwere tested. Theweb crippling testswere conducted under two loading conditions of End-Two-Flange (ETF) and End-One-Flange (EOF).
