The purpose of this study was to analyze research studies on the effects of snoezelen intervention in dementia residents in nursing homes ranging from mild to severe stages of dementia. The research question was: How can snoezelen intervention positively affect dementia residents in nursing care? Qualitative study and content analysis were the methods used for analysis which contains thirteen scientific researched articles which helped to answer the research question posed by the study. Previous researched articles of relevance to effectiveness, acceptability and ethical issue were sought.
