Nine new labdane diterpenes (1, 4-11) and two known diterpenes have been isolated from the aerial parts of the medicinal plant Alpinia chinensis. Their structures were determined from 2D NMR spectroscopy. Biogenetic relationships among these terpenoids are discussed.link_to_subscribed_fulltex
