The authors propose an efficient algorithm for synchronizing geographically distributed nodes in a multihop mobile radio network which uses spread-spectrum signals for communication. This synchronism requires the synchronization of the clocks at all nodes and accurate measurements of the distance between them. The distances must be updated periodically to reflect changes in the nodes' locations. It is shown that the time required to complete the synchronization process is proportional to the number of nodes.link_to_subscribed_fulltex
