Conference Theme: Communications in the Information AgeA model is presented for analyzing the performance of routing strategies in a packet radio network where each station has an adjustable transmission radius. Previous research has focused on the case where the transmission radius is fixed or is the same for each station. The authors illustrate their model by comparing three routing strategies. Results show that the best strategy is for each station to transmit to its nearest neighbor by using adjustable transmission power.link_to_subscribed_fulltex
