In this paper, the thermal analysis for prefabricated architectural sandwich panels is carried out. The core of the sandwich panel is approximated by the finite prism, and the thin faces are handled by the finite strip. The finite-prism-strip method is simple to program and saves considerable computing effort compared with the finite element method.
