Previous study showed that vanadyl sulphate can effectively lowered blood glucose level in streptozotosin-induce diabetic mice. This study is aimed to reveal the molecular mechanism of vanadyl sulphate in lowering blood glucose level. Diabetic mice were given vanadyl sulphate suspension in CMC-Na once a day for 7 days with the following dosage, 3, 30, 100 mg/kg body weight. On day 28, mice were sacrifice and the muscle, liver, adipose tissue and pancreas were taken.
