Synthesis of 4-nitrobenzoyl-3-allylthiourea was accomplished by acylated allylthiourea with 4-nitrobenzoyl chloride. The acylation procedure based on Schotten-Baumann reaction modification triethylamine as a base and a catalyst. The percent yield of the product of synthesis was 28%. The purity of the compound was analyzed by Thin Layer Chromatography and melting point test. According to the UV-Vis and FT-IR spectra analysis, it showed that 4-nitrobenzoyl-3-allylthiourea was successfully synthesized. Analgesic activity of the compound was tested in mice (Mus musculus) using writhing test method with 0,6% acetic acid as the pain inducer.
