ABSTRACT Background: Candida Albicans (C.albicans) is a normal flora in the oral mucous membrane, is a blastophore form. In pathologycal condition, the spore will change to be hyphae and can penetrate to granulosum, it is trigerred by poor oral hygyene, xerostomia, dental applience or nutrition defisiensi. In older people, saliva secretion can decrease (xerostomia), and most of them are denture user. Purpose: The main of the research was observation on the decrease saliva secretion and oral candidosis appearence in the older people. This research were used older people as respondens, measured unstimulated whole saliva secretion, clinical and laboraties examination of the oral candidosis.
