Effects of Four Herbal Compound Formulae on the Contents of IL-1β and IL-2 in Acute Psychological Stress Rats

Objective In order to study the regulating effects of traditional Chinese herbal compound formulae on the immuno-endocrine network of psychological stress rats, four kinds of traditional Chinese herbal compound formulae, respectively acting on regulating qi, dispersing phlegm, tonifying qi and warming Yang, were used to treat the acute psychological stress rats, and the serum contents of IL-1βand IL-2 were assayed. Methods Rats were divided into 7 groups: normal group, model 1 and 2 groups, Sini Powder group, Banxiahoupu Decoction group, Ganmaidazao Decoction group, and Guizhigancaolonggumuli Decoction group. The indexes of thymus gland, spleen and adrenal gland were observed; the serum contents of IL-1βand IL-2 of all the rats were detected by the means of radioimmunoassay.
