The objective of this article is to describe in a general way the Photo-voice research tecnique and assess whether extending the scope of this tecnique to the issue of return migration helps us to understand the role played by migratory trajectories, language, stigma and identity in the educational aspirations of returning youth at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS). Likewise, it is our objective to present the main findings in three categories of analysis: migratory trajectories, stigma-identity, and the educational aspirations of young returnees.
