The Wavelet Transform (WT) is a relatively new technique for processing transient signals with time varying spectra. An outstanding property of the WT is the built-in self-adjusting (zooming) window structure that helps to resolve high- and low-frequency transient components effectively by employing adequate resolutions. This zooming property of the WT is extremely useful to identify the different spectral characteristics of transient Lamb waveforms [1–3]
